Daniel T. W. Lum, M. D.
I studied at the University of Michigan for both undergraduate and medical school. I did my residency at Children’s Memorial Hospital. I have been in practice since 1984. I am married and have two young adult daughters. Once a year I travel to Bolivia for a medical mission. I am currently the Treasurer of the Children’s Memorial Hospital Medical Staff, as well as a board member of the CCPA (Children’s Community Physicians Association). In addition to practicing medicine, I enjoy photography, cooking, and bicycling.
Patricia Brunner, M.D.
I was born in Chicago, and raised in Glenview, Illinois, where I attended Glenbrook South High School. I went to the University of Illinois, Champaign/Urbana for my undergraduate education, and Rush Medical College at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago for medical school. I then moved to Boston, to do my residency at The Floating Hospital for Infants and Children, at New England Medical Center. I worked as a pediatrician in the Boston area for several years, and then moved back to Glenview, to be closer to my family. I joined Pediatric Associates of the North Shore in 2001, and I enjoy working with patients of all ages: babies through young adults. I currently live in Wilmette, with my husband and three young children. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and hiking.
Shoshana Elkin Waskow, M.D.
I studied at the University of Chicago for my undergraduate degree and received my M.D. from Harvard Medical School. I did my residency training at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago. I have been in practice since 1998. I am married and have two school-age children. My great joy in practicing medicine is partnering with parents and children in their learning about development, health, and safety with the goal of thriving, healthy kids. I have been a member of department and professional staff committees at NorthShore University HealthSystem and regularly teach students and residents in the office and the hospital. In addition to practicing medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family and I am an active member of several Jewish congregations and community organizations.

I studied at Vanderbilt University for my undergraduate and received my medical training at University of Tennessee in Memphis. I completed my residency in Atlanta, GA with Emory University. I have been practicing since August of 2000 and joined Pediatric Associates in June of 2012. I really enjoy the diverse nature in pediatrics—helping patients of all ages across a range of issues. I live in Chicago with my husband. In addition to my pediatric practice, I enjoy international travel, cooking and gardening.
